This is the icing on the cake.

It’s been a memorable few weeks here at Lunatic & Lover, first we were awarded a Double Gold medal for our Barrel Rested Botanical Rum, then at the New Zealand Spirit Awards Gala Dinner, our spectacular packaging was acknowledged with the award for Packaging Design and then to top it all off, we came away the trophy for the Best New Zealand Spirit in class. Wowsers!

We are incredibly proud to be at the vanguard of not only the nascent rum distilling scene here in New Zealand, but also the wider rum category internationally. The concept of Botanical Rum is starting to garner attention and praise around the world and now with these awards tucked under our belt, our confidence boosted, we’re ready to show the world why we should be considered amongst the best of this new breed.

There are way too many people to thank. To all those who have supported, encouraged and cajoled us along the way and without whom, we may well have faltered – we raise a glass.
